“Do You Realize” that The Flaming Lips and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes will both perform during Wakarusa? Here’s a video of them collaborating on a slowed down, hipsterized version of “Do You Realize.” WARNING: There’s an incident of rock-star language in the video, so be advised.

Pull out your iPhone, Droid, day planner or Excel spreadsheet. Or whatever else you use to keep yourself organized. The Wakarusa band-by-band schedule has been announced.

The festival takes place from June 5-8 on Mulberry Mountain near Ozark. We’ve known about the lineup for some time now, and it includes some big names — The String Cheese Incident, Bassnectar and The Flaming Lips.

Some initial thoughts:

• There are several shows on Wednesday night. The earlier you get there, the more music you can see (although we understand early-admission passes are in short supply).

• Friday (June 6) afternoon is the pinnacle for indie rock, with sets by Dr. Dog, Murder by Death and J Roddy Walston and the Business clumped tightly together. That’s also the night The Flaming Lips serve as headliners.

• Friday night at the conclusion of The Flaming Lips’ set, The String Cheese Incident play a set on a side stage. That’s going to be a crowded, rowdy affair.

• Saturday (June 7) features a particularly packed day. Two of the bands on the top line of the bill — String Cheese and Bassnectar — play back to back on the mainstage that night.

• Several bands get two sets: St. Paul and the Broken Bones, J Roddy Walston, Dirtfoot and the Sunday (June 8) headliner, Umphrey’s McGee, who also play Saturday evening.

• I don’t notice as many personal conflicts as I have in the past. Anyone else have that experience?
