Last weekend, Northwest Arkansas had the blues. This weekend will be ‘blue’ as well, but in a much different way.
Texas-based modern rock band Blue October has released modern rock radio hits such as âHate Meâ and âInto the Oceanâ and recorded seven albums, the most recent of which, âSway,â was released in August 2013. The band will visit Fayetteville for a show on Sunday night (April 13) at Georgeâs Majestic Lounge. Joining Blue October for the 9 p.m. show will be Architects. Tickets are $25 and are available through georgesmajesticlounge.com.
Speaking of George’s, they’ve got what should be a good show tonight (April 11) too. Songwriter (and former boxer) Paul Thorn will perform there for the late night show. He’ll go on about 9:30 p.m. Admission is $20.
Elsewhere, Shreveport, La., band Engine stops by for a performance tonight at Smoke & Barrel Tavern. Adam Faucett entertains at The Lightbulb Club on Saturday (April 12) and many other gigs are listed on our homepage.
