By now, you’ve likely already looked over the lineup for the 2013 edition of the Wakarusa festival, which will take place May 30 through June 2.

But in case you haven’t, take a minute to do so. You can find it on the festival’s website.

This isn’t my dream lineup — nothing will top My Morning Jacket, Grace Potter, Sharon Jones, Et al. in 2011 — but I must commend Wakarusa on the range found in their lineup. There’s something for the electronica crowd, with names such as Amon Tobin, The Floozies and more. There’s a few names I’m personally excited about, such as Calexico, Son Volt and Of Monsters and Men. There’s even a rap star this year, as Snoop Lion (formerly Snoop Dogg) was among those announced yesterday.

I discuss the lineup in more depth in my semi-regular music column, Listen Here!, which is available in Friday’s What’s Up! section. To read it, you need to be a subscriber to either the print edition of the newspaper or our digital products.

What do you think about the Wakarusa lineup?

Initially disappointed and then when i saw the Governors Ball lineup in NY happening the following week even more bummed. But plenty of time to look up artists and find some diamonds in the rough. Waka is a beautiful setting for a festival.
