Straight No Chaser

The members of Straight No Chaser never expected to perform together again. They formed a collegiate group by that name, but left the a capella group to incoming students as the original members graduated and moved on with their lives.

But when a YouTube video of the band became a viral success and talks of a professional reunion surfaced, it didn’t take long to get everyone back on board.

Vocalist Jerome Collins chatted with me about the group, its sudden success and its song selections, which range from pop to showtunes to holiday favorites to rock ‘n’ roll.

My story about the group [available to subscribers] published in advance of Straight No Chaser’s performance tonight (April 10) in Fort Smith. The show takes place at 8 p.m. at the Fort Smith Convention Center. Tickets range from $29-$35 and are available through Ticketmaster.
