The weekend in live music, with Bill Dollar and Loose Change and more

Bill Dollar and Loose Change

This is a good weekend for Fayetteville, even for a city that has plenty of good weekends.

Two of my favorite events returned in the span of three days, and during a week of ample sunshine, too.

Last night, Tiffany Christopher provided tunes at First Thursday. Tomorrow (April 7), Bill Dollar and Loose Change provides the soundtrack for the first Fayetteville Farmers’ Market of the season.

Classic rock and country cover band Bill Dollar and Loose Change will kick off the outdoor performances at Jammin’ Java, a tradition during the farmers’ market season in downtown Fayetteville. Saturday morning’s performance, like those that will follow, take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and are free.

Also in town this weekend are The See, which we told you about yesterday afternoon. The Little Rock band performs tonight (April 6) at The Lightbulb Club. $5 will get you in to that show.

On Saturday night, Damn Arkansan will release a new EP. That album, the five-song release “Brave Mistakes,” will be available during the band’s show at Smoke & Barrel Tavern in Fayetteville.
