You wanted to go to Bassnectar, huh?

Well, good luck. His show at the Fayetteville Town Center tonight (Feb. 25) has been sold out for a month.

So, what are the other options?

How about Lucero? The southern punk/country/rock outfit, featuring Little Rock native Ben Nichols on lead vocals, has performed in Fayetteville dozens of times during their 10-plus years on the touring circuit. The group, which is based in Memphis, Tenn., made the jump to a major label with the release of “1372 Overton Park” in 2009. The group will play a two-night run of shows at George’s Majestic Lounge today (Feb. 25) and Saturday (Feb. 26). Tonight’s show is expected to begin about 9:30 p.m. Saturday’s show will begin closer to 9 p.m. Admission to either is $15.

Or, on Sunday (Feb. 27), you can catch songwriter Kevin So. Formerly a New York resident, So now calls Nashville, Tenn., home. So, who performs at Teatro Scarpino in Fayetteville, last played in this town when he served as an opening act for blues artist Keb’ Mo. So is now touring in support of his latest release, “LiFe Solo AKouStic.” Admission to the 7 p.m. show, which also features local songwriter Jason Reddecliff of Shulertown, is $12.

Elsewhere, local funksters Groovement have the stage at Rogue Pizza Co. in Fayetteville tonight. It’ll cost you $5 to get into that show, which will start about 9 p.m.

On Saturday, an event being billed as the Rockin’ Red Dirt Revival will features several acts at Drifter’s in Fayetteville. Expected to perform are Benjamin Del Shreve, Chad Sullins and more.
