On The Way: Smash Mouth, Sept. 10 @ WAC parking lot

It’s been hot. Like, ‘Walking on the Sun’ hot. Smash Mouth will deliver this hit when they perform in Fayetteville on Sept. 10.
When last putts rattle into the cup on the Friday evening (Sept. 10) of the LPGA’s Northwest Arkansas Championship, the thousands who attend will want something to keep them entertained later that evening.
And so, the all star golfers who perform here will get the chance to hear the song “All Star,” it was recently confirmed.
Pop rockers Smash Mouth will perform a free show Sept. 10 in the Walton Arts Center parking lot located at the intersection of Dickson Street and West Avenue in Fayetteville. The band is known for the hits “All Star,” “Walking on the Sun” and more.
The concert is a peripheral part of the golf tournament, but will be free and open to members of the public, just like last year’s Travis Tritt show, which was attended by several thousand people.
The show will begin at 8 p.m.
