Rapper NoCanDo explains why he’s not like the other rappers. CAUTION: Rap star language and references to both “Family Guy” and “Spinal Tap” are contained in the video.

L.A. rapper Nocando (say it like No Can Do) comes to Smoke & Barrel Tavern in Fayetteville tonight (Aug. 9), and he’ll be bringing the sounds of his debut album, January’s “Jimmy The Lock” with him.

Nocando comes from the West Coast battle rap circuit and finds himself on the peak of nationwide success. NPR, for instance, reviews his latest work much more eloquently than we could.

He performs tonight with Free Moral Agents. Admission is $5, and the show will start sometime around 10 p.m.
