Ballhog!
Although Nashville, Tenn. is the band’s home now, two of the members of the roots music septet Ballhog! grew up in Fort Smith. The band’s sophomore release “Ballhog! 2” was released in May and the group is touring in support of the record. They’ll be in Fort Smith tonight (Aug. 6) and Saturday (Aug. 7) at Neumeier’s Rib Room. Both shows begin at 9 p.m. Admission is $5.
Other musical options this weekend include the concerts at the Tontitown Grape Festival, which continues through Saturday night with carnival rides, live music, and spaghetti dinners with fried chicken. Especially the spaghetti dinners with fried chicken.
Elsewhere, Dead Irish Blues is at the Celtic Grill in Bentonville tonight from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Tyrannosaurus Chicken has the late-night gig at George’s Majestic Lounge on Sunday (Aug. 8).
Find some other gigs by checking out the calendar to the right. But, more importantly, check out a live music show this weekend, would ya?
