Tonight's concert updates: Joseph Israel concert moved; Dickson Street show stays put

July 8th, 2010 at 4:21 pm

We’ve just got word that the Joseph Israel concert scheduled for tonight (July 8) at Gulley Park in Fayetteville will be moved due to the torrential downpour that is still going on as we type this message.

It will now take place at the Fayetteville Town Center from 7-9 p.m. It’s still a free show, and the Town Center parking lot will be free of charge, we understand.

In other outdoor music news for tonight, we’re told the New Rock 104.9 The X anniversary show scheduled for tonight on Dickson Street will take place as planned outside on the street.

George’s Majestic Lounge has been booked as an alternate location, and we’ll update you if it does indeed move there.
