Above, Pablo Sainz Villegas plays in a large concert hall. This week, he’ll play in tiny venues in Northwest Arkansas.

Coming to an intimate venue near you are a series of concerts that represent the Artosphere Festival’s Chamber Music Series.

The series actually started last Wednesday and continues through Friday (May 28). It features classically trained musicians playing in some of the more beautiful structures in the area: St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable, Thorncrown Chapel and the Cooper Memorial Chapel among them.

The series continues today at 6 p.m. at Thorncrown Chapel with guitarist Tim Callobre and at the Cooper Chapel on Wednesday, St. Catherine’s on Thursday and Eureka Springs First Presbyterian Church on Friday. The latter three concerts feature guitarist Pablo Sainz Villegas and vocalist Laetitia Spitzer and begin at 6 p.m.

The events are free, but because of limited space, ticket are required. Get them through the Artosphere website. It appears some of the shows are sold out.
