‘Denial’ isn’t a river in Egypt. It’s a song by metal band Sevendust, who come to Fayetteville tonight.

In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Sevendust was among the top metal bands in the country, finding success with their album “Home” and the radio hits that came from that recording.

After some lean times, the band regained attention with the help from the album “Cold Day Memory,” which was released last Tuesday. That album includes the song “Unraveling,” which found its way onto the national Billboard Active Rock chart.

The group plays tonight (April 27) at George’s Majestic Lounge. Opening acts include Nonpoint, Day of Fire and Hail the Villain. Tickets to the 8 p.m. show are $20 and available at the venue or on its website.
