While waiting for the release of their second album, “Reckless Habits,” the members of Great American Taxi aren’t just sitting around. On a tour that spans the entire country, the band will make a swing through Arkansas beginning with a show April 9 at Chelsea’s Corner Cafe, 10 Mountain St., in Eureka Springs and ending with a show April 12 at George’s Majestic Lounge, 519 W. Dickson St., in Fayetteville. The band, which features Leftover Salmon member Vince Herman, is best described as Americana or country rock. Admission to the Thursday night’s 7:30 p.m. show with opening act Mountain Sprout in Eureka is $10; admission to Sunday’s 9 p.m. show in Fayetteville is free.
