The band that is Jesus Chrysler Supercar has existed for about nine months, but it was only about three months ago that they put the pedal to the medal, so to speak.

The Northwest Arkansas trio plans to release their five song debut EP, “Bible Salad,” at a concert tonight (Dec. 19) at Club Froggy’s, 402 W. Dickson St., in Fayetteville.

The indie pop rockers call bands such as Built to Spill, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Tom Waits and a diverse roster of other artists as influences.

The band is comprised of Garland Pilgrim on vocals and guitar, Kevin L. Mullins on bass and vocals and Bryan Burkhart on drums and vocals.

Joining the group tonight will be Dreamfast, The Witz and The Darksuits.

The show begins at 8 p.m. Admission is $5.
