Part of the proceeds from a Benjamin Del Shreve concert March 27 at the Old Post Office will be donated to a family devastated by a Bentonville fire.

As news reports relay the tragedy caused by a fire early Tuesday morning in Bentonville, several in the music community are readying themselves to help.

The fire claimed the lives of five sisters.

From 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. March 27 on KXNA 104.9 FM, bids will be taken on items including concert tickets, autographed merchandise and more. The event is being organized by H Bros Entertainment, local rock band Benjamin Del Shreve and Butler Broadcasting, owner of KXNA.

Later in the evening, a concert by Benjamin Del Shreve will take place at the Old Post Office in Fayetteville. Part of the proceeds, and a free-will collection taken at the show, will be donated to the family.

This is the girls aunt, I live in the Northern Virginia area and it is really hard for me not to be there for my family in there time of need. I am glad to see there has been an out pouring of support from the community. It touched my heart to see that there are people with a great level of compassion. Once again thank you so much. Thanks so much for your kindness.
