Spoon – Sept. 30 @ UA’s Greek Theater

That’s right, Austin, Texas indie rockers Spoon are on the way, thanks to the University of Arkansas. Sponsored by the school’s University Programs committee, the band will play a free show Sept. 30 at the Chi Omega Greek Theater on the UA campus in Fayetteville.
If this Spoon was actually silverware, it would shine pretty brightly. The band has released a number of critically acclaimed albums, the most recent of which, “Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga,” hit shelves July 10.
